What we do

At Procurement, you are part of a global team that makes sure the cars we build and the services we offer meet the highest expectations from our customers. In line with our ambition to lead innovation for the future of Autonomous Drive / Shared Mobility / Electrification / New Ways To Consumers, we have created a dedicated Procurement category team, focusing solely on Software, Licenses, Connected car cloud, MNO and Telematics services e.g. for all product streams.
We are now looking for a candidate to our new position as Procurement Agile Release Train Manager (PAM) within Software & Electronics. This a new and exciting role that gives you the opportunity to assure a close connection between Procurement and Product & Quality as well as Consumer Digital regarding all types of procurement tasks.

What you will do

As a PAM you will represent Procurement in all decisions taken at the stakeholders and be a part of the ART leadership teams. Your purpose is to own and prioritize global procurement team deliveries in the ARTs as well as to assure that Procurement strategies and contents are value adding for the business. The focus will be to bring out the best in the business. As the team spans across all Product Streams you will also need to establish a close cooperation with other PAMs.
You will be part of the Global Category Team and also take on buyer responsibilities to a certain extent.
We need you, who enjoy taking ownership, being a change maker as well as a strong collaborator combined with a courage to challenge.

Do you fit the profile

We believe that you have commercial experience in at least part of the areas covered by the team, You are a prestigeless team player with excellent networking abilities and strive with cross-functional cooperation. With your passion for identifying, enabling and creating new solutions you also see new business opportunities in this field. You are known to always take ownership of your deliveries and have a strong strategic mindset.
You possess a strong business acumen with an understanding of the many dimensions of business issues while having the ability to make sense out of complexity, including the legal and contractual aspects. You enjoy negotiating and challenging suppliers, always with great respect and a focus on achieving win-win agreements. Having experience from an Agile way of working is very beneficial.
To succeed in this role, preferably you also have a genuine interest in the consumer experience of the car.
