Rebtel is looking for a Procurement and Carrier Relations Project Manager

The Role
The Carrier Relations unit is responsible for the procurement of all Rebtel's voice termination, local numbers and Mobile Top-Up services. That means being responsible for a yearly procurement volume of $65M or 70% of the total cost base of the company. Today, all of this is handled by one person but Rebtel is growing fast and it is time to double the size of the team.
Responsibilities:
The new role will combine two responsibilities, the first one is that you will negotiate and decide upon the quality and price mix for an assigned set of countries to ensure the smooth calling experience our customers deserve. The second one is to project manage and drive all procurement related improvement projects. This includes projects to optimize the tools and reports used by Carrier Relations and the development of new procurement methodologies and least cost routing algorithms.
In this role you will be the important liaison between the Carrier Relations unit and our Backend team. Target, more bang for the buck!
Requirements:
• University degree with top marks
• General understanding of the telecom market and the wholesale voice business in particular
• Project management experience is highly desired
• Procurement, negotiations or commodity sales experience is a plus
