Department Procurement Support supports Group Procurement and Saab's procurement function.
Group Procurement, one of Saab's corporate functions, is responsible for the procurement function at Saab and indirect procurement of products and services.
At Procurement Support, we want to continue to build on our data driven ways of working and our analytic capability, support the buyers with analyses, develop descriptive and predictive analytic methods, increase the use of external sources and develop competence in business analytics. A new procurement system is coming with completely new possibilities for strategic and analytic procurement work.
Around 30 persons are working at Group Procurement where of 9 persons at the Procurement Support department. We strive for sustainable solutions that are both profitable and value creating.
Your role
Your main role will be, in collaboration with buyers at Group Procurement, to work with the analyse part in strategic procurement work. It will be market analyses, in depth suppler analyses, risk analyses (of suppliers, internally within procurement at Saab), support in analyses of business opportunities ("business case"), cost reduction, supplier performance etcetera.
Included in the role is collaboration with business area procurement departments and other group functions, to develop procurement function general capability to do business analyses. You will also participate in process development, mainly regarding analyses and risks.
Examples of business development projects within Group Procurement are creating methods to support buyers to work more data driven, develop reports in the procurement system, extract analyse results from for instance financial systems. Regarding Saab's procurement function, examples of projects would be to drive training and competence in the analyse area.
You will use external data sources (databases, reports) and internal sources, mainly data in our systems.
In the position is included business trips in Sweden, international trips may occur.
Your profile
You have a strong interest for analyses and analytic skills are very important. It is natural for you to explain complicated contexts (data, analyses) to other in more than one way. You are interested in other people and to create situations for learning and sharing knowledge. You are service minded and interested in that the business within Saab is different and you know that one solution does not fit all.
We value your ability to get the entire picture from all the parts that our business consists of, and that you can come up with new ideas and suggestions of solutions. Thinking new by taking impressions from different activities and perspectives is natural to you.
The education level is college education from one of the fields of purchasing, finance, technology or business law.
Your experience is form analytic work, driving change and business development, especially where structural support is missing. To collaborate with people from other parts of the organization is important.
You can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
