hela Sverige Do you have experience within process industry and want to work with products that can really make a difference in the field of regenerative medicine? Join our team that produces human recombinant laminins and other proteins that are sold as a culturing platform for different types of primary cells. The demand for our products are increasing around the world and we therefore need to expand our production team in Sundbyberg. We are looking for a thorough and detail-oriented Process Technician that will help us conquer the world.
RESPONSIBILITES
As a Process Technician you will work with product manufacturing and product manufacturing support activities. This involves working independently with cell culture and protein purification.
Daily tasks may include, but are not limited to:
Basic cell culture techniques, handling of cells from cell bank to production vessels
Purification of biological macromolecules, filtration and chromatography
Media preparation / buffer preparation and filtration
Performing molecular biology and analytical methods, such as electrophoresis, Western blot, spectrophotometry and PCR
Taking care of lab ware, washing and autoclaving
Assist with handling of raw materials, receipt and inventory
Documentation of completed tasks in batch records and logbooks
Preparing and updating procedures and work instructions
Performing maintenance work on equipment
Work is conducted in accordance with internal instructions and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a laboratory science background and/or previous experience of working in the process industry with both upstream and downstream processing, or equivalent qualification.
Experience in biotechnological production of recombinant proteins, aseptic working technique, cleanrooms is an advantage.
Working according to GMP it is an advantage but not a requirement.
You should be fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge of English both oral and in written
As part of a small biotech production team, the position will require a self-motivated person with enthusiastic positive attitude, and an excellent multi-tasking skill.
