Work description:
Exciting times at Worley, new projects and customers coming in and the 2020 growth plan is ongoing. That's why we are looking for new colleagues for our team in Stenungsund. Here are all engineering disciplines represented to run EPCM projects.
You will be part of our Process department and work within all project phases from feasibility studies to execution phase. Participates in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options and optimization of selected design. As most of the projects are executed locally, there is constantly feedback between design and execution.
As team leader you front a team of process engineers working within a client specific portfolio of studies/projects in the design of a process unit. This includes establishing process design basis, development of process options and optimization of selected design and inter discipline coordination. The role focuses on support to and prioritization of portfolio team resources but will also involve some process engineering tasks and future work planning. Therefore, a solid process knowledge is a prerequisite for a person working in this role. As a team leader you will report directly to the Process group manager.
The position involves quality assurance of process design, brainstorming process design options and supporting younger/less experienced engineers in their day to day work. You are used to participate in safety review meetings and taking responsibility for both technical and administrative tasks.
Specific Accountabilities
Responsible to lead the team into delivery of scope with quality, in time and within budget.
Plan and follow up with all resources available in the team including global workshare resources.
Identify resource needs and request them in cooperation with the process group manager.
Coordinate and align with other Worley disciplines in the client's project portfolio.
To succeed, we see that you have:
Candidates must as a minimum have a BSc degree in Chemical Engineering or a related subject relevant to Process Engineering, with a minimum of ten years engineering and design experience in all aspects of process engineering.
Experience of Aspen/HYSYS and/or other process simulation tools
Swedish and English, fluent in speech and writing.
It is a merit with experience from the process, upstream-or downstream oil and gas or nuclear power. It is also meritorious with experience from Autocad.

Being a team player is important, but when needed, you have no hesitation in taking the lead. You also have a great interest in technology and drive your development to take more responsibility in the technical work in the future. You are used to participate in safety review meetings and taking responsibility for both technical and administrative tasks. You have a systematic approach to planning and prioritizing tasks as well as following up on KPI metrics.
