What's in it for you?
We are looking for a Process Owner with a devotion for smooth and effective processes to join our Testing Technology & Metrology department within R&D at Volvo Cars Headquarters in Gothenburg.

At Testing Technology & Metrology we buy and own all testing equipment at Volvo Cars R&D. Our responsibility is to ensure that our global customers are equipped with the right tools and supported by our expertise to help develop our future cars. We provide metrology expertise, solutions for testing, lending of instrumentation, design and service of development tools and solutions for testing departments inside and outside of Volvo Cars. In doing so, we establish and develop relationships with test engineers within almost all system areas of the vehicle as well as building an understanding of the technology within those areas.

What you'll do
We are on an agile transformation journey, and the Process Owner position is a new role within the department. Together with the Agile leadership team, you will be a key player on that journey by supporting your teams to remove impediments and reduce risks to be able to improve quality and the speed of deliveries.

You will own the process and strategic roadmap and set high level priorities, and in order to be successful you need to develop a broad network and be an "out there person" to identify key stakeholders and acknowledge their needs. This role gives you the opportunity develop your technical and financial competence and leadership skills while guiding your teams in their ways of working.

As Process Owner your main task is to analyze, develop and improve the processes and routines within the department, where our procurement processes will be your focus. This includes aligning our key stakeholders to make sure our processes and routines supports them in the best way, locally as well as globally. You will be a servant leader for the teams and provide smooth and effective processes for their way of working.

You and your skills
We see that you have at least a bachelor's degree within a relevant area, good business understanding and experience within procurement, process development, business agreements and relationships with related parties. Technical knowledge within metrology or testing as well as experience from Volvo Cars' processes such as investment, procurement, quality process and product development is preferable. You will also need experience from leading, either projects or in an agile setup. Preferably you are comfortable using the SAFe framework and you need to believe in the agile way of working.

On a personal level, you need the analytical skills to identify improvement needs and the self-drive and dedication to implement them. You are a servant leader who possesses strong communication skills so that you can drive the process development in the right direction together with your teams and stakeholders. Being a communicative person is key to be able to have successful dialogues with different types of stakeholders from all parts of the company and outside.
