Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. Business Division Renewables is responsible for wind power and biomass. Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in six countries, onshore and offshore. Investment in biomass fuel is key to further reduce the emissions. We have about 350 employees.
Within BD Renewables the support department Operation & Logistic has a mission to support Vattenfall's wind farm sites with project management, shared tools, processes and solutions in order to increase effectiveness in our operation and maintenance work.
We are now taking the next step regarding Material Management; therefore we are now recruiting a Process Owner - Material Management.
Job description
In the role you are given responsibility of the material management process (logistic focus) and the continious development of it and the SAP system. You report to the manager of Operation & Logistic and will be working closely with the process owners for maintenance and documentation process as well as our site managers and the procurement organization.
The role's responsibilities include - but are not limited to:
• Set objectives, direction and scope of the Material Management process.
• Set and follow up Key Performance Indexes for the Material Management process.
• Coordinate the Material Management process with other process owners
• Identify and propose Material Management process changes to the Generation Management Team.
• Support the sites, site managers and procurement organization with project management, business system and process development as well as implementation of it to new wind farms.
• Other tasks and projects with focus on supporting our wind farm sites cross Europe.
Qualifications
The successful candidate holds a post-graduate degree in engineering, with 2-5 years work experience preferably related to project management and logistics, not necessarily from the wind power industry. Fluency in English and knowledge of SAP is a prerequisite.

This position can be placed in any of our current offices in SE, DK, UK and the Netherlands. The position requires travelling 4-6 times a month.
