Role mission & context Would you like to be a part of the journey towards the best transmission factory in the world? The production plant in Köping is the transmission center within the Volvo Group Truck Operations, Powertrain Production. Our site is the "Center of Excellence" within the area of transmission solutions and today we are 1650 employees.

We are now looking for our future Process & IT Manager. The right candidate is a leader with an operational and strategic mindset, eager to continue developing a winning plant IT team.

P&IT site Manager is a leadership position having Group IT teams and Project Managers reporting on daily site performance and site P&IT project portfolio performance. You have the engagement and passion to take on this position where collaboration and team spirit is essential to reach success.

You will be a member of the global Powertrain P&IT management team and Powertrain Köping Plant Manufacturing Engineering management team. Your local host department will be Manufacturing Engineering.

You will report to the global Director of Process and IT Powertrain Production.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for the Process and IT Business Plan for the plantAccountability and Responsibility of the IT services and project performance in the plantLead the Plant IT team agenda within KöpingP&IT project portfolio for the plantEnsure site has efficient IT solutions and services supporting and enabling its operationsIdentify new opportunities to add business value using Process and IT Solutions and ServicesSecure local resources & budgetEnsure input to and take responsibility for GTO's P&IT strategy alignment for the site

Wanted profile As Process & IT Manager for the Powertrain Production plant in Köping you need to have a global mindset with a local focus. You have proven experience from driving business value through process and IT solutions.

You have a passion for both Manufacturing and IT, and can easily switch between the two "languages". Previous experience of Manufacturing IT is a merit and something you would benefit from in your daily work.

You are a strong communicator with good influencing skills able to network and create trustful relations with people in different cultures and organizations.

You have a strong quality focus and a personal drive to reach the objectives and targets set for IT in Köping, understanding how it contributes to the factory.

You have Experience from positions where process- and business development have been closely linked together with IT development.

Volvo Group Trucks Operations Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions as well as all production of Volvo, Renault, Mack and UD trucks. Group Trucks Operations also includes spare parts supplies to the Group's customers as well as logistics.

Process & IT within Volvo Group Trucks Operations GTO Process & IT execute- and follow up on the Process & IT long term plan and strategic roadmap within Global Truck Operations being responsible for process management and development on PM L1 and L2. The function consolidates, decides and executes all P&IT demands from the business and is responsible for Information architecture, information model and master data management.

Process & IT Powertrain Production GTO Process & IT Powertrain Production has a passion for both Manufacturing and IT, and bridging the gap between the two is also our key competence. Our team is a diverse group of people, located globally, with different backgrounds complementing one another. Together with our colleagues within Process & IT and other functions, we deliver the necessary IT solutions to bring Powertrain to the next level. We set the P&IT road map, manage the IT project portfolio, and secure implementations within Powertrain Production. We ensure Group IT deliveries for quality of services in daily production by working as one professional team to be one step ahead of business demands.
