The Group Reporting & Accounting is looking for an Intercompany Accounting Process Lead. The Intercompany Accounting Process Lead will work together with the Financial Reporting team as well as the Group Accounting team. The role also includes working in an international atmosphere with the Volvo owned legal entities around the world and the Intercompany team in the shared service centre in India. The area of responsibility is to ensure good quality of the intercompany accounting process through a process ownership role and by leading people and managing tasks to achieve objectives and drive process development. As an Intercompany Accounting Process Lead you will also participate in different projects throughout the company.
Main responsibilities
• Ownership of the intercompany accounting process (AP/AR)
• Lead the teams in India and proactively drive process improvement and development
• Measure the process and respond to deviations
• Manage and drive investigations to resolve issues quickly
• Focus on monthly close activities and assure proper intercompany balances
• Communication with involved parties
• Investigations in SAP and Hyperion FM
Required qualifications
• University degree in Business Administration/Finance
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience from accounting
• Experience from process development
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
