hela Sverige Eka Engineering is Eka Chemicals AB's engineering department, carrying out construction projects, both internally within Eka and Akzo Nobel, as well as externally for the chemical industry worldwide. Eka Engineering also has a complete supply of bleaching chemical plants, based on proprietary processes, which Eka Chemicals sells to the paper industry worldwide. In our offices in Gothenburg and Stockholm, we have about 65 employees and a varying number of outside consultants. Eka Engineering has also established operations in China and Brazil.
Job description
You will be part of our process discipline team, with its main role responsiblity for process design. You are part of the whole process from feasibility study and sales until the facility has been delivered to the customer. Work is conducted in projects in a stimulating environment. Eka Engineering uses the latest engineering tools and we're constantly working to improve and further develop our work processes.
Trips to both near and far occurs in the as project meetings, training, commissioning, start up and service calls. This is a varied and challenging job where you get the opportunity to grow and develop together with people from other cultures.
Responsibilities:
Key Skill Requirements:
• Master or Bachelor of Science with specialization in process or chemical engineering.
• Some years of experience working with similar functions, preferably internationally, in the chemical process in production or project work. Experience in research or process development is a plus. Previous experience of sub-project management or supervision is an advantage.
• English in both spoken and written is a basic requirement. Other language skills are an advantage.
Personal characteristics
You have good organizational skills and an open and positive attitude. You are purposeful, flexible and able to work both independently and in groups. Is prepared to solve problems, sometimes even outside your own individual tasks.
