About the position

To produce the most competitive products, at Höganäs we strive to constantly improve and optimize our production processes. As the newest Process Engineer at our Atomization Plant, your focus will be on the plant's technology and process development. You will work closely with operations and have a focus on process optimization regarding the areas of work environment, external environment, quality, productivity, energy optimization and costs. You will also participate in and drive investment projects with the goal of creating a disruption-free business. As a process engineer at Höganäs your overarching task is to work with process optimization and to coordinate production development. This entails performing risk analyses, cost and investment calculations as well as root cause analyses and impact assessments.

The position is placed in Halmstad in the south of Sweden, and you will report to our Area Manager for melting or atomization.



About you

For the position as process engineer, we are looking for a curious team-player who likes to work in, and lead, cross-functional teams. We believe you to be e a critically thinking and meticulous person with the ability to find solutions with a combined focus on big picture and details. Moreover, you have a structured way of communicating that makes you proficient in relaying your work to others.

To find success in this role, we believe you have a degree in chemical or mechanical engineering. You have several years' experience from working in the process industry, preferably with metallurgical processes. If you possess specific knowledge or expertise in the areas of oven technology, refractory materials, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, automation and/or combustion, we view this as strongly meritorious. This also includes and extends to knowledge in and experience from implementing LEAN.
