For our office in Bohus, Sweden, we are looking for a Process Engineer who can fulfill the the requirements outlined below.
Responsibilities
The main tasks and responsibilities are to:
Participate in projects and/or lead small subprojects within own discipline
Perform Process design in projects including:
Process calculations, sizing of equipment, piping and instrumentation
Create and establish P&ID (Piping & Instrument Diagram) and Material & Energy balances Preparation of functional descriptions of instrumentation and process control
Prepare a time table for the work
Perform cost estimation of equipment in studies and pre-projects
Perform technical evaluation of quotations
Participate in safety analysis and other HSE activities
Document activities performed on processes and design work including documentation to customer
Participate as Process Engineer at commissioning and start-up of plants
Carry out training of the customer's operations and maintenance staff
Perform technical service to customer / trouble shooting
Apply to all local HSE&S rules on site and AkzoNobel guidelines
Requirements
M Sc Chemical Engineering or similar
Minimum 6 years of experience from process design engineering, chemical plant projects, R&D or manufacturing
Good knowledge in process design engineering and process design tools
Strong ability to cooperate, teamwork oriented
Result oriented
Very adaptable, fast response to change in cultural environment (business and/or geographical context)
Ability to travel 50-100 days/year
Good knowledge in English (written and spoken)
To be successful in this position you should have ha high level of service knowledge that is eager to contribute to continuous improvements. You are used to work with deadlines and you are a good communicator, both within the team and to customers.

This is a permanent position on a full time basis, reporting to the team leader, Karolina Albinsson.
