hela Sverige Do you have experience within process industry and want to work with products that can really make a difference in the field of regenerative medicine? BioLamina is looking for a Process Engineer/Process Scientist to expand our production team in Sundbyberg. As a Process Engineer you will work with human recombinant protein manufacturing and manufacturing supporting activities. From our total organization of 15 employees, you will be one of four production team members, working independently with cell culture and protein purification. It is a challenging position covering a broad range of biotechnology techniques, such as cell culture, purification, product analysis and process optimization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily tasks will include, but are not limited to
Implementation of processes from laboratory scale to production scale
Basic cell culture techniques, such as thawing, freezing and cell culture activities
Purification of biological macromolecules; filtration, chromatography (ÄKTA)
Standard process analysis, such as spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, and western blot
Evaluation, documentation and reporting of results
Write and review of SOP's and other documents and generate batch protocols records
Change control, deviation and investigations
Handle process-related and technical trouble-shooting
Take care of the daily lab routines
Take care of the lab ware, wash and autoclave
Media and buffer preparation
Perform maintenance on equipment
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a laboratory science background and/or previous experience of working in the process industry with both upstream and downstream processing, or equivalent qualification.
Experience in biotechnological production of recombinant proteins, aseptic working technique, experience working in cleanrooms is an advantage.
You are a problem solver with hands-on experience in working with the ÄKTA purifying system is of great advantage
Experience in working according to GMP it is an advantage but not a requirement.
You should be fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge of English both oral and in written
Good computer skills
