We are now looking for a Process Engineer to our Press shop!



Description

Our department delivers new and rebuilt dies, tools and processes to our press shop in Trollhättan. We participate from early project phase until hand over to the production team.

You will be part of a team of process engineers within the press shop that are responsible for the industrialization of new car line projects, face lifts and running changes.

You will have extensive contacts both with our colleagues in other departments within the company and external suppliers.



This means that the role as Process Engineer involves:

- Acting as project leader for the follow up activities of new press dies from external suppliers
- Leading industrialization activities for new and rebuilt press dies from the specification phase to the hand over phase to production
- Investigation of Die design consequences as feedback to Product Engineering department
- Leading different types of press process investigations including cost calculations, HC calculations etc.
- Industrial engineering tasks during start up and running production

We are looking for someone who has experience from:

- Process engineering activities preferably for press dies
- A position as project leader
- Die design, calculation and cost investigations for tool changes
- Work with continuous improvements, preferably within the press process
- Product engineering tools such as UG NX and Team Center



You also need to have:

- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Good knowledge in English and Swedish, both spoken and written



To be successful in this role, you need to:

- Be good at organizing, planning and prioritizing
- Be able to lead other people in projects
- Be self-initiated
- Have functional technical skills, and be able to listen to others
- Adaptability in the interaction with different persons, groups and culture

NEVS is a member of the Engineering Industries and covered by current collective bargaining agreement signed by Unionen / Sveriges Ingenjörer / Ledarna.
