Would you like to work in a key role with one of SWEPs core processes where you get the chance to work with the latest brazing technology? To a dynamic manufacturing company in strong growth, we are now looking for a collaborative engineer with strong passion for technology and materials.
Tasks and responsibility
Your focus will be on leading the development of brazing and welding methods in production and collaborate closely with our production and maintenance teams in the daily production.
You will lead and participate in different projects for production improvements, new investments and developments. You will also provide training for welding and brazing related activities, participate in brazing claims and provide expert competence regarding welding and brazing in NPD (new product development) projects. We are looking for someone who can support the production concerning welding and brazing issues and, at the same time, take on the role as the welding coordinator for the Landskrona plant, ASME and PED.
In this role you will have a lot of contacts, both internal and external. You will be a part of our engineering team and will work closely with our operators and maintenance staff. Since we are a part of a global company, you will also have opportunities for global contacts and support.
The engineering team works closely together and always has a positive team spirit. Much of our work is project-based, which will give you personal development opportunities to grow within other areas and to have cross-functional contacts.
Your profile
We are looking for an Engineer with the following background:
• International Welding Engineer (IWE)/ International Welding Technician (IWT)/ International Welding Specialist (IWS), or similar experience
• Experience from working with ISO 3834
• Knowledge of ASME and PED welding and brazing standards
• Experience from working with brazing is desirable
• Experience from working with vacuum furnaces and pressure vessels is desirable
If you previously worked with resistance spot welding, stud bolt welding, and gas tungsten arc welding, it will be seen as meritorious.

You are analytical and structured. You communicate well with everyone in an organization and are good at conveying messages. It is important that you are engaged and driven. We want you to be open-minded and to take the initiative in ensuring continuous improvement.
