You will be part of Power Grids in Figeholm. We are a global leader in the field of transformer insulation serving both internal ABB transformer factories and external customers. On the idyllic Swedish east coast close to Oskarshamn ABB is operating a board machine converting cellulose into so called transformer board. The transformer board is further converted both at Figeholm and our insulation-manufacturing units in Poland, Germany, India, China, and Brazil.

Task:

As our Process Engineer, you get the opportunity to contribute with your technical expertise to the very core of our manufacturing. You will be part of a skilled team responsible for the development of our production processes. Your main mission will be to lead local projects in production technology and contribute to new production methods and quality improving actions. You will provide your technical knowledge and continuously support the improvement and development of our production.
In this role you will be part of an ongoing process and production development with a high degree of automation ? giving you great insight and knowledge in our core business. You will collaborate with colleagues both in-house and worldwide. All in all, this gives you great opportunities to both broaden your network and deepen your skills.

You hold a Master?s degree in Engineering or have equivalent experience, preferably from the pulp & paper industry. Today, you probably work with process technology and have hands-on problem solving skills at a variety of levels. Since you will be part of a global company, you need to be fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.

To succeed, you need an analytical, organizational and result-oriented mindset. Naturally, you are innovative and you take initiatives, as well as contributing to our further development with new creative solutions. With your collaborative skills, you will add great value and play a key role in our team. Adding your ability to manage fast paced periods, you have what it takes to succeed in this position.
