Main responsibilities
Technical support to all activities of Medium and Low voltage cable manufacturing
Tools design and production lines set-up sheets for the whole production process with main responsibility on one specific area
Preparation of work instructions to operators
Preventing and solving quality problems in the plant
Be responsible or support for new lines commissioning, the prototype production and the technological approval phases during the start-up of new production processes, including the issue of all relevant technological documents.
Improvement projects to improve output, efficiency, and quality on the responsibility areas and in the plant in general
Safety improvements in responsibility area to support Prysmian Zero and Beyond Safety program
Be in close contact with colleague in the other plants within Prysmian Group to share and develop existing processes
Visualize and measure the performance of the plant
Lead and coordinate Lean projects (LSS, SMED, Kaizen) around the organization to drive short-term and long-term business improvements.
Qualifications
Technical/Engineering BSc/MSc degree
Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English is mandatory
Proactive and goes beyond expectations
Has a "can-do" attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
Good team working and communication skills
Knowledge of Lean methods - Six Sigma (advantage)
Excellent analytical and technical skills
Advanced competence in Excel
Competence to create and modify drawings in CAD format like AutoCAD
