Would you like to join our team? We are a team of process engineers with experience from multiple organizations and various fields and we are now looking for a new team member in our engineering team at Site Stockvik in Sundsvall. In our work we have many contact areas with several functions within Nouryon and on the site. Are you a Process Engineer with experience from the industry, working with e.g. investment projects, continuous improvement or process safety? Main responsibilities
Our PQC department is supporting our plants at Site Stockvik with expertise in process engineering, process safety, laboratory engineering and quality management. We have a high ambition to deliver high class engineering projects, and to improve process safety and product quality.
Your main tasks and responsibilities are to:
Act as process expert on site
Act as lead process engineer, site representative or technical licensor in capital projects
Support internal customers in identifying and scoping of projects
Support the plant with improvement projects with regards to capacity, efficiency, and safety (HSE) by using e.g. Lean Six Sigma methodology.
Responsible for assurance in performing risk analyses in projects and small modifications (HAZOP, What-If, LOPA, SIL, MOC)
Participate as Process Engineer at commissioning and start-up of projects
Perform process design in projects including, e.g. basis of design, process flow diagram, material and heat balance, sizing of equipment, piping and instrumentation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position we believe that you have a strong ability to cooperate and work in a team. You are a good communicator and driven to solve problems, both on your own and together with others. You are structured and organized but you are also flexible and can adapt to fast changes.
M Sc in Chemical Engineering or similar
It is meritorious if you have +3 years of experience as process engineer in process industry, but not a requirement.
You preferably have experience with chemical plant design, start up and commissioning, and as well with process engineering in R&D or manufacturing
Knowledge in process engineering and process design tools
Knowledge in risk assessment
Fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis based in Stockvik, reporting to the Team Lead Engineering.
