Who you are
The opportunityAs our new team member, you will support the Alfa Laval sales companies with your industry expertise in different ways; customer dialogue, design support, site visits, etc. We want you to develop a helicopter view of our global business so you can follow industry trends and develop new ways to the market. You enjoy sharing best practice and commercial aspects with our colleagues around the world.
Who are you?You know your way around a production site for bio-ethanol, sugar and/or starch. You find it inspiring to apply your knowledge to create energy efficient, robust and competitive heat exchanger solutions, while also considering the commercial aspect and sell our values to our customers' plants around the world.
For this you have preferably at least three years of experiences in designing 1-phase and 2-phase heat exchanger and have been working with direct customer contact.
To enjoy and be successful in this position, you naturally take initiatives and want to be involved in technical and commercial decisions. Formally we think you have a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, or similar.

Responsibilities:
Support Alfa Laval sales companies with heat exchanger solutions and process expertise primarily in bio-ethanol-, sugar- and starch syrup applications
Develop competence to support heat exchanger duties also in edible oil applications
Develop technical and commercial market insights for the global renewable resources industry
Assist international colleagues with a professional customer dialogue with processors, licensors and engineering companies
Together with international colleagues develop and execute regional action plans
Coordinating international projects in between the Sales Companies
PracticalitiesWe see Lund as a natural location for this position, but are flexible in finding practical solutions. International travelling to customers' sites is a part of this position and would be about 60 days/year.
