Role Purpose:
Develop and improve the existing polymerisation plants in Stenungsund, to produce high quality polyethylene for demanding applications. Participate in the design of new plants in Stenungsund and abroad.
We are now looking for 2 engineers to support the design, operation and upgrade of the existing plants. The wanted area of competence is production development or process design, or preferably both.
Contribution:
• Develop the efficiency of the polymerisation plants
• Manage projects carried out by external contractors
• Participate in start-up, commissioning and tuning of process plants
• Identify and initiate improvement projects.
• Assist in benefit studies and preparing project proposals
• Trouble-shooting and problem solving in the plants
Skills:
• MSc in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
• We appreciate experience in process design and operation
• Knowledge of project management
• Fluent in English and Swedish
• Ability to build a broad contact network inside Borealis and outside

Other information:
The position reports to the Manager, Development PE, Stenungsund.
Some business travel to Borealis’ sites and to contractors can be expected.
