AkzoNobel Separation Products, working under the brand name Kromasil®, develop, manufacture and sell high performing separation materials for HPLC used for the separation and purification of pharmaceuticals. Kromasil® is well known among pharma companies all around the globe.
As Process Development Engineer you will be part of a high performance team and a growing business with focus on product- and process development, application and manufacturing technology.
Main responsibilities
• Independently initiate, run and finalize activities and sub-projects according to approved objectives.
• Contribute to the development of new and improved products and processes including writing of new and modified SOP documents.
• Independently contribute to the continuous buildup of knowledge around our products and processes sharing it with our production team by day-to-day support.
• Investigate deviations in critical production parameters with regards to product quality.
*Follow the scientific and industrial development within the own area of responsibility.
• Work with our process control systems and other production support systems.
• Master of Science in chemical engineering or corresponding education with 3-4 years of relevant job experience.
• Documented communication skills in writing reports and presenting results.
• Good knowledge in scale up of chemical reactions and other unit operations.
• Hands on experince and/or education in process control systems and other IT systems used in process industry combined with interest to learn more about e.g. Delta V, MES etc.
• Result oriented, good ability to cooperate.
• Experience from Design of Experiments (DoE), Multivariate Analysis and Lean methodology is beneficial.
