• Project manager for process development projects
• Prioritize projects/work together with Process Development Manager
• Collect and evaluate ideas for new process development projects
• Drive continues improvement activities
• Validation/verifications of changes
• Educate, implement and follow up on decided changes
• Prepare and present projects at Toll Gates to the Global Project Steering Group
Vitrolife is searching for a forward looking, driven and highly skilled Process Development Engineer who will play an active part in the process development within Business Unit Media.
The position is based in Gothenburg and you will report directly to Process Development Manager. Currently the process development team in Göteborg consists of 2 experienced and highly skilled colleagues.
Skills and qualifications
We are looking for an individual, who is analytical, structured and used to deliver on, sometimes, short dead-lines. You also have excellent collaborations and problem solving skills and are a very self-driven professional with a natural thirst for creating the best possible results.
We expect that you have a University degree of minimum bachelor's degree, preferably in Chemistry, Biology or Engineering and a few years of relevant work experience in a regulated production environment (ISO 13485, GMP or similar, food production etc.)
Other success criteria's are:
• Capable of handling technical problems both theoretically and practically
• Strong understanding of the requirements and possibilities when developing medical devices within the limits of the governing directives
• Used to document your work and create reports, instructions etc.
This position requires excellent skills in English and Swedish both verbal and in writing.
