Services include technical support, maintenance services, condition monitoring, asset efficiency optimization, engineering consultancy and training.We're now looking for a Process Development Automation EngineerYour day-to-day workTo manage activities and projects (especially investment projects) in the area of automation in Gothenburg factory.To drive the "Automation Strategical Group" and related activities in the factory through close cooperation with other units at SKF.To drive automation initiative and to develop a good working cooperation network with key actors within the area.To support Gothenburg SKF factory with automation related activities and tasks.To develop technical equipment specifications and be part of purchase activities.To keep aware of external developments within the area and translate new findings into opportunities for the Gothenburg factory and SKF Group.To maintain good cooperation with external partners like suppliers and academiaTo train SKF engineers/technicians in internal courses/mentorship and support building/updating training materialWe expect you to have/beGood knowledge about PLC and PLC programming (preferably Siemens S7 )Good knowledge about robot programming (ABB Rapid and ABB Robot studio are preferred)Experience about project leadership in automation projects (Automation solutions)Experience and knowledge about communication technologies (ProfiNet, ProfiBus, ASi, ...)Preferred knowledge on Siemens Sinumeric 840D (NC...)OPC knowledge (OPC-UA, OPC-DA ...)Engineering degreeIndustrial networkEnglish and SwedishExperience in factory implementation projectsAs a personSelf goingA good team playerStructured and organizedWe offerA challenging job in the factory where we are going through important transformation to become a world class factory through a stimulating work environment and possibilities for professional growth.Additional information for youLocation: Gothenburg.For questions regarding the recruitment process, please contact Patrik Schultzen, Recruitment Specialist at SKF Group Recruitment Center, +46 31 337 12 70 or
