About the Role
As Process Design & framework Specialist in the Service Excellence department, you will work closely to people dealing with NLP/virtual assistants, Data Analytics, Workflow, Knowledge & Document management, Microsoft PowerApps to mention a few. You will participate in team efforts to automate and digitize operational processes. If you would like to be part of a new and entrepreneurial team, this is the opportunity for you!
In this role you will work with stakeholders all over the world to help them improve, design and automate their processes. You will be responsible for activities ranging from marketing and education all the way to a finalized process description documentation and process lifecycle management. Your closest stakeholders will be process leaders across the organization as well as the delivery organization in IT.
You will work in a newly formed team within GBS Service Excellence focused on Process & Knowledge Management and can be based in any of our larger sites, but preferably Gothenburg or Ismaning. Since your stakeholders will be around the world, some travel will be required, but most of the times we connect via virtual meetings.
What you will do
Leverages expert knowledge of business processes and business needs to review existing complex processes, understand requirements, analyses data, researches issues, and devises solutions for assigned projects
Support & establish standards on process management.
Coaches or mentors other less experienced roles in reviewing business processes and devising appropriate solutions
Coordinates closely with developers to ensure proper implementation of programs and system specifications
Create detailed process design documents, including evaluation of risk, criticality and other compliance needs.
Develops plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion including system integration, testing and end-user training and lead the implementation for these projects
Researches and prioritizes the applications of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for the organization where applicable.
Ensure that we work with documentation and process improvements that are most relevant from an Essity value perspective
Mobilize project teams with required stakeholders to ensure correct process design and project delivery.
Act as a process management ambassador; participate in trainings, team meetings etc., to explain the benefits and possibilities.
Identify opportunities for improved management of documentation and information, using modern technology which enables Essity employees to share
& retrieve information globally.
Who you are
M. Sc. Degree in engineering or information management
3+ years' experience in working with process design and/or continuous improvement
Experience within Knowledge Mgmt and/or Business Process Management
Theoretical and practical know-how on core technologies used for Knowledge Mgmt / Business Process Management e.g.
Graph-Databases, BPM notation standards, Semantic Web, Resource description frameworks, Process automation, Auto classifiers, Workflows, and APIs to internal & external data sources
Experience from relevant core business functions such as finance, HR, master data, research & development, or supply chain is highly valued
Have a full value chain perspective
Customer centricity, understand the importance of usability
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience from working with SAP or similar ERP system is a plus
Experience from working with a Business process management & design platform is a strong plus.
Excellent skills in speaking and writing English
Furthemore, we see that you are curious about technology and innovation and have proven ability to take responsibility for daily customer interaction and delivery. It is an advantage if you have experience in working in virtual teams.
Additional information
The preferred location for this position is in our Gothenburg office, however there is possibility for the right candidate to be positioned in any of our larger sites, such as Ismaning.
