Poolia is now recruiting a highly skilled process designer to our customer, developing state-of-the-art technology in electrical power systems with minimal environment impact.
This is an ongoing recruitment process - we will handle the applications continuously.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
As process designer your responsibilities will, among other be:
• develop process design from first draft to final design freezes in product development projects.
• define and act on potential design problems (efficiency, water and heat balances).
• perform flow sheeting calculations (mass and heat balances) for sizing of components within the total power system.
• develop a common process system platform for maximum synergy between different customer needs and minimized costs.
• create technical requirement reports on all system hardware (balance of plant and core hardware).
• suggest and evaluate results from laboratory experiments and use results for validation of calculations and models.
• develop and use process modelling tool (gPROMS) and work jointly with software & control engineers perform system simulation (gPROMS vs Simulink)
• be a driving member of the product fevelopment project teams.
• provide technical support to sales department in business case development with new customers.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
To meet expectations from the customer and to be able to handle the responsibilities attached to the role you need to have a PhD or MSc in Chemical Engineering and at least five years of working professional experience in chemical process industry. Furthermore you are required to have thorough knowledge in thermodynamics, an analytical and structured mindset and a well developed ability to assess complicated problems and in a structured way find creative solutions. It is also preferred that you have experience from working in product development projects and a general knowledge of control design, heterogeneous catalysis and fuel cell technology.
As a person you possess good communication skills in different languages and high social skills. We expect you to take own initiatives and that you show ability to operate in a flexible and dynamic environment.

Poolias customer develops and distributes advanced fuel cell systems for the transport industry and selective high technology markets. They were established in 2008 with the intention of becoming a market leader of fuel cell systems. In addition they intend to create reliable power solutions for clients all over the world - without ever compromising the safety and environmental care that they carefully build into each of their power systems.
