The Process Equipment department develops, manufactures and delivers process equipment specifically designed to meet the demands of product development and manufacturing of cemented carbide inserts. The work is organized in projects run according to the Lean Product Development working model and is conducted in co-operation with the product development and manufacturing organization.
We are now looking for a Process Control Engineer for our operations in Västberga, Stockholm.
Key performance areas
As Process Control Engineer you will:
• Develop solutions that provide reliable, highly productive and cost-effective equipment that meets the new requirements of R&D and production capabilities
• Be involved in the entire development chain from idea to commissioning, documentation and subsequent technical support
• Work with programming and commissioning of process equipment, both new and existing
• Plan and perform testing of equipment in-house before shipping to customer sites, as well as testing at customer sites
• Implement solutions that meet the requirements of machinery safety and other applicable regulations and standards
• Prepare documentation for CE marking of the engineered equipment
• Educate users in functionality and operation of the installed equipment
• Develop the knowledge of the department in new process control methods
The position involves traveling up to approximately 40 days per year.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Master's in Engineering and experience as an automation engineer working with process and production equipment. As the position involves many internal and external contacts with, among others, external suppliers, technical advisors and production units, good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required. Knowledge of Swedish and other languages is advantageous, as is experience with Citect, Mitsubishi, Delta V or other control systems.
You are creative and driven, with good ability to finish tasks started. You gladly work independently, as well as with others, and enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with co-workers. This position requires that you are customer-focused, service-oriented and pedagogical in your communication.
