Summary of role
Manager of team of process engineers for assigned CAM process area there to:
• Design process of CAM facilities in Northvolt
• Industrialize CAM recipes and concepts
• Develop technology and process improvements
• Commission new CAM facilities
Responsibilities
Process area management responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for process area deliveries towards projects and other company interfaces (goals, tasks, design, input etc.)
• Delegation and follow-up of process area overall goals
• Delegation and follow-up of required process area tasks
• Establishment of relevant forums required for process area:
o Delivery follow-up
o Experience transfer and the raising of concerns
o Risk management
• Management of process area budget (inform of changes > 500,000 SEK; approval for 1,000,000 SEK)
Responsibilities towards overall process group:
• Participate in cross-area alignments to ensure:
o Experience/knowledge transfer
o Aligned priorities and goals across the process group
o Uniform design practices and philosophies
o Standardised ways of working within the group and towards interfaces
• Organise cross-area and cross-organisational alignments where necessary
• Delivery progress / status report to Process Engineering Manager
Responsibilities related to team and people growth:
• Participate and drive recruitment for process area
• Provide team growth plan into overall process engineering team growth plan
• Organise 1-to-1 with each member of the team
• Prepare yearly reflection for team members
• Participate in salary review
• Prepare professional growth plan for team members
• Act on company survey (e.g. Vibe) results
