Poolia is recruiting a proactive and analytical Process and Data Engineer to Flint Group Sweden in Trelleborg. The position is a permanent placement from day 1.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You are offered a challenging and developing position in an international environment. You will work with a professional and dedicated team.

Trelleborg is the mother plant of the business area Narrow Web and acts as a competence center for the other factories. One very important topic is to drive innovation related to digitalization, to ensure long term competitiveness compared to competition.

The main task for the Process and Data Engineer is to support the Process & Automation Manager with driving the improvement journey.

The Process and Data Engineer's main responsibilities will be:

1. Implementing the digitalization vision
2. Analyzing strategic projects
3. Develop factory IT and data science
4. Improve processes and instructions

Tasks that will be important in the position are:

• Support the department manager with implementing the long-term vision and strategy for the site, to ensure that process and automation become competitive advantages for Flint Group's business area Narrow Web
• Be updated on new technologies on the market by visiting trade fairs, discuss with suppliers, and participate in internal best practice networks
• Share best practices with other sites.
• Lead strategic projects for the site related to automation and factory IT.
• Perform for risk assessments related to new investments and rebuilding of existing equipment
• Preparing investment calculations for new equipment or upgrading of machinery
• Support regarding the Distributed Control System and Manufacturing Execution system
• Implement methods for statistical analyses to understand process and deviations
• Visualize data by using BI Tools
• Together with the Lean Manager and the Quality Manager, ensure that SOP and standards are updated and used in the production
• Support with industrialization of new products
• Continuous improvement of current production process, ensuring that documentation and standards are updated and improving process parameters
• Implement production process KPI 's, and measure process performance and deviations
• Ensure quality compliance by follow up deviations related to the production process, and support root cause analyses of claims and complains. Drive and monitor quality of incoming materials.
• New product development and implementation, working close together with R&D in the New Product Implementation (NPI) process. Participating in batch-up and related documentation and working with R&D to ensure that developed products are adjusted to fit Trelleborg's production system.
• Statistical analysis is used as tool to understand process and deviations
• Implement technical KPI:s for machines and equipment and show improvement based on data

The position reports to the Process & Automation Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

You probably have a Bachelor's or Master's degree chemistry, computer science (IT), mechanical engineering or other relevant fields.

We believe that you have a minimum of 3 years work experience in process and data engineering, automation and factory IT, digitalization, process development, quality compliance or from other relevant fields. Previous experience from a manufacturing company, preferably within a multinational organization, would be an advantage.

Fluency in speaking and writing English is a prerequisite for the position. It is a major advantage if you also are fluent in one of the Scandinavian languages.

You have excellent skills in Excel, BI Tools (QlikView) and Python/Matlab. It is an advantage if you have experience of the ERP-system SAP or similar.
