Problem Analyst for electrical areas within Active safety, Chassis and SRS

At Active Safety Department, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people.
Our group Chassis Electronics Analysis & Verification, is a part of Volvo Car Groups Active Safety department, we are responsible for analysis and verification and Quality Analysation of Volvo Cars chassis related ECU:s and software's.
As an Problem analyst (PA) you will function as members in the CMQ team with quality assurance within function areas in Active Safety, SRS and Vehicle dynamics. You will work in close collaboration with the two Problem Analysts in Active Safety and Supplemental Restraint Systems (SRS), Analysis and Verification group. To put even more focus on the highest prioritized area at Volvo: Quality and Customer Satisfaction, we are searching for one more PA that will work together with the PAs and CMQ. As a PA you work very independent trying to understand customer complaints and try to find the rout cause and then solve it together with design-, test groups and suppliers! You sometimes even travel to different customer cars to test drive and dig into the car to find out what 's wrong.
Main responsibilities
* Identify and prioritize quality issues through structured data collection and vehicle analysis.
* Fault tracing in complete vehicle and on test benchs
* Proactively analyse product problems and be part of the root cause analyse
* Prepare data for decision of field service actions
* Main focus is to actively lead and act in the phases; Define, Measure, Analyse
* Work with quality assurance within function areas in active safety, SRS and vehicle dynamics
Required qualifications
* University degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer science, Mathematics or Physics
* Good knowledge of quality analysis methods/tools.
* Good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Green Belt Certified
* B-driving license
* Good knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and applicable tools, such as DSA, CANoe CANalyzer and CANApe is meritorious
* Well versed in Volvo Cars product development & Running Change Processes is meritorious

* Ability to act independently and to take initiatives
* Structured with high analytical skills
* Good communication skills
* Good in documentation and reporting
* The ability to cooperate and work within a team
