Are you a procurement officer with international experience, excellent English skills and a university degree (in Finance, Business Administration, Law and/or Engineering or similar)? Would you describe yourself as a truly committed person with high integrity and focus on both service and customer experience? Then we have just the position for you! Proffice is now on the look for a proactive procurement officer, to start in January, for an interesting European research company.
Your main responsibilities will be;
• plan, organize and coordinate procurement activities (in an effective and economic way).
• implement & develop procurement and contracting procedures and methods.
• conduct and/or advise planning, negotiation, solicitation, administration, (if necessary, termination of contractual and procurement actions).
• develop strategies (for amongst others contracting of services, contracts, systems and procedures, controls and innovates on develop contract terms and conditions).
• keep an eye on procurement service standards, carry out continuous analysis of the working methods, identify problem areas and suggest improvements.
• ensure that commodities, services and equipment are procured under optimal circumstances and assume responsibility for preparation and implementation of contract or procurement actions.
In order to succed in this position we need you to have a relevant university degree, five years (minimum) experience in procurement at a medium (or large) company, (at least) two years experience of complex procurements and excellent skills in English (both written and spoken). As a person you're enthusiastic and committed with high integrity and proactive approach. Furthermore we believe that you are flexible, customer-focused and that you are able to take initiatives, meet deadlines and are able to establish good relationships as well as effective networks.

Qualifications:
