Job Description
We look for
A Print Designer to our H&M SPORT Atelier with responsibility for our visionary forward and highly innovative print design and development for our strong dedicated standalone Women, Mens and Kids Sport collections. We are looking for you who have great knowledge from graphic design and working with trims and you know how to design print expressions combining these elements for outstanding visual products! You are highly skilled with textile graphic prints, allover prints, illustrative prints merging all print styles with trims components and develop fashion forward sports prints. You know how to make the print vision coherent across all the collections combined for Womens, Mens and Kids Sport.
A self driven and strongly motivated active sportswear print designer with a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for sportswear. You are well-organized, love teamwork, are humble and have strong and clear communication skills. You are motivated by being part of building our new sport print collection, adapting as we develop and constantly finding new ways of working in a creative and diverse environment. H&M Sport will run essentially as a start-up within the H&M Group and as such, the role requires a broad, entrepreneurial and very agile growth mindset. This is a senior permanent print position.
You are responsible for driving the overall developing of visionary fashion sport prints, and graphics to be sold globally in our H&M markets and omni channels
You drive and spear head the print vision and push it further through experimental and innovative hands on creative processes - you invent what we need to get where we wish to go for the future!
You collaborate with other teams and functions in the organization and bring your wide and extensive experience from working on many projects, and your ability to collaborate with varied stake holders simultaneously. You work with the Atelier Lead, Product designers, Print designers, Material specialists and more. You know how to inform and be informed by each others' expertise and knowledge.
You bring your fresh ideas, energy, print design creativity and fully diverse global perspective to the team and inspire them through your great communication skills
You will work on many projects simultaneously without loosing speed. This requires high energy and flexibility, strong independent drive and a constantly curious mindset
Qualifications
You are an experienced Fashion Textile/Print and/or Graphic Designer with work experience from (preferably) commercial fashion sports brand/s
Experience of creating all over repeat, placement prints, graphics and more combined with trims elements
Strong in typography/graphic text print is a must
The role requires a deep knowledge of working with sports trims, details, materials and its future innovation possibilities
Experience from innovative creative print experimentation is a strong merit
Experience of building print collections for womens, kids and mens as a whole
High knowledge of different print techniques, general print technicalities and processes
Firsthand experience from production/global print suppliers
Excellent illustration and strong drawing skills and great eye for color
Genuine and high level fashion forward sense for global fashion + sports print trends
Solid and fast skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs
3D CLO experience is meriting
You are an experienced leader who thrives as a team player
Fluent in English (Swedish is not necessary)
