We are looking for engaged engineers with the skills, expertise and, more importantly, passion to develop technologies that will create value for our customers. One important area is the electrical and electronic architecture that is the fundament for developing vehicle functionality such as autonomous drive and electromobility, in an effective and cost-efficient way. As part of the EE architecture, it becomes increasingly important to protect the vehicle from malicious attacks attempting to tamper with the vehicle or get unauthorized access to vehicle data.
The main focus of the group is the development of system-level technologies related to future versions of the electrical and electronic architecture. This means that we shall maintain a holistic perspective on the electronic architecture, rather than focusing on individual hardware or software components, and provide future product development projects with competitive solutions for the EE architecture. One aspect of this is to integrate different concepts into a common prototype that represents a future version of the EE system of a truck.
Job description
As a principal system design engineer with focus on cybersecurity, you will engage in developing and maturing new technologies for preventing unauthorized tampering of our on- and off-board systems and to protect on-board data. You will have a wide working arena ranging from high-level conceptual development to hands on implementation of cybersecurity solutions including process and methodology. This includes both building early prototypes and demonstrators of cybersecurity solutions as well as their integration into receiving product projects. You will also keep the group up-to-date with state-of-the-art in the area. You are expected to take a leading role in defining global advance engineering roadmaps and projects/activities in collaboration with stakeholderders throughout the company Experience and interest in other topics related to the EE architecture is an advantage.

To be successful in this position you need to have a deep understanding and experience in all aspects (incl. both process and technology) of cybersecurity. You also need to have good insight in how cybersecurity affects the Electrical and Electronic system and how decisions in the architecture and in applications affect cybersecurity. We also see that you have a genuine interest in exploring and learning new technologies, a desire to be in the forefront of technology and have a creative and innovative mindset with the ability to drive things to completion.
Profile and qualifications
MSc or PhD in Computer engineering, Electrical engineering or equivalent
At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity
Extensive practical experience in embedded programming and system design of electrical and embedded systems
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
