Do you want to be a part of building the world we want to live in?
Right now, we are looking for a principal solution architect focused on IoT solutions for our digital services to customers to improve our customers uptime & productivity in the construction business. You will be an important member of the information management and enterprise architecture team in digital and IT and cooperate with stakeholders both within and outside the company.
Opportunity description:
You will have a vital role in designing and implementing IoT solutions for uptime and productivity services and thus create value for our customers.
Cooperate with partners within and outside of Volvo to lead the IT-architecture work and integrate cloud-platforms and information flow to enable IoT based uptime and productivity services.
Participate in all part of the life cycle, e.g. innovation - development - runtime
Collaborate with architects with other focus areas to find solutions that works well together balancing many quality attributes within and across solutions
Actively join the target architecture work for the services that gives our customers and partners greater insight into uptime and performance of the machines we sell as part of the overall Volvo CE target architecture.
Mindset and Competence:
Passionate about IT-architecture and how to balance the technology and business needs.
Many years of experience within IT architecture and solution development based on cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google cloud) and integration services on and across these platforms
Experience from working with IT-solutions based on information from multiple sources; connected devices, advanced analytics and other internal and external IT-systems
You have a good understanding of design patterns and appreciation of the purpose and the practices of Agile
You have failed and overcome difficulties and learned from mistakes
You have experience from working in a global environment
You have demonstrated a growth and learning mindset
