Ericsson's growth strategy is to expand into the enterprise segment, where our networking strengths is the lever. Technical leaders in the area are needed to drive suitable networking solutions for the identified use cases, building on Ericsson's strong position in connectivity.
The use cases for enterprises are diverse and include technology challenges, as well as challenges in the areas of deployment and operational models. To address these, solutions need to be innovated across technology areas. The motivation for this position is to drive such cross-technology, cross organizational research efforts.
What you will do
Strategically drive cross-technology innovation for enterprises to support identified use cases and applications, building on Ericsson strengths in wireless connectivity. Include radio aspects in the solutions.
Lead technical coordination both on operational and strategic levels.
Drive Ericsson wide collaboration and interactions across relevant organizations.
Influence Ericsson portfolio and standardization activities to meet needs of enterprise customers.
Drive Ericsson research strategies on solutions for enterprises, with more depth on wireless connectivity aspects
Represent Ericsson as a technical leader in contacts with customers, competitors, partners, and academia.
You will bring
Strong background in wireless networks with in-depth knowledge of radio layers.
Deep understanding of several enterprise vertical segments and their technical needs and requirements.
Innovative cross-technology solutions to generate value for enterprise customers.
Experience from 3GPP standardization.
Project Manager or Technical Coordinator experience from large research projects/programs.
Shown skills in establishing and driving external collaboration projects with academic and industrial partners.
Strong and wide contact network both within Ericsson and externally.
