Main Responsibilities
As a Principal Process Engineer you are responsable for process development and optimization at our Batch producting units. In this position you will act as site support towards Technology in order to improve process technology and also as process lead or process support in Capex Projects according to Nouryon Project Management procedure.
Additional responsibilities:
Participate in process education trainings to ensure an increased knowledge regarding process and process safety within production and other departments.
Continuously acting as a mentor to process and process safety engineers within process team.
Participates in the continuous improvement work from a process perspective to improve reliability, efficiency and productivity.
Responsable for energy mapping and improvements to improve sustainability accordingly.
Supporting with process safety knowledge in Capex projects, ongoing Hazop and Management of Change.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you are a good team player with recognized social competence and know the strength of working across global cultures. You are confident in your own expertise and a possess a strong drive to deliver results. You have excellent communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and experience in building strong networks.
Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical Engineering.
Proven project management skills.
• 10 Years relevant experience from process industries or similar
Experience in process safety such as Hazop, SIL and LOPA.
High level of competence, experience and respect of all HSE&S aspects.
Lean Six Sigma experience meritorious

This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the , Team Lead Process Engineering and based in Steungsund, Sweden.
