Responsibilities and Tasks:
Develop and review of 2D drawings of Tow arrangements, Mooring Installation and Hook-up, Mooring arrangements and mooring equipment.
Plan, lead and perform preprations of ballasting plans and documentation, Light Weight Surveys and determinations and Inclining tests and experiments.
Plan, lead and perform stability calculations and produce associated documentation as required.
Plan, lead and participate in integration and installation of offshore structures and preparations of rig transportation plans and documentation.
Participate in R&D projects and provide guidance within the field of Marine Operations and make recommendations within the Marine Operations area to solve problems and develop methods.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
Qualifications and Experience:
M.Sc. degree in Naval Architecture or Civil Engineering.
10 + years experience of marine operations and 2 + years within offshore industry.
Well developed knowledge in the area of Marine Operations and stability calculations, practical experience is required.
Well developed knowledge about ship and offshore rules concerning the DNV and ABS classification societies, practical experience is required.
Experience of AutoCAD, Autoship and Excel software.
Proven track record of producing accurate and well written technical reports.
Previous experience from working in a supervisor or team leader role is an advantage. Experience from working at a shipyard or a construction site is an advantage.
Fluent and effective oral and written communication skills in English are required. Swedish and additional language skills are an advantage
