Who are we?
The Durability & Safety - Cab and Chassis is part of the Feature Verification and Validation organization within Volvo Group Trucks Technology. Our responsibility is to analyze, verify and estimate durability, strength and fatigue life for components and systems in the truck. The Durability feature is vital to strengthen our leading position on Heavy Trucks around the globe and is in focus in almost all projects. As a customer, the Durability feature is of most importance to ensure the uptime of the truck.

Position description
As Feature Leader you will work as an expert in this area. We offer you the possibility to impact early in the project phase and continue until the end of the project. You will identify actions and acceptance criteria to be able to fulfill project targets. The actions can be simulations, calculations or specific tests such as rig tests or complete truck test. Besides your role to provide project management with specialist support, you also report status to project management and other stake holders. As a Principal Feature Leader you drive the feature development across the organization and set the strategy for the feature. Another important part of your responsibility is to lead, guide and coach the other feature leaders in their projects. Furthermore, you will secure feature development plans and give input to feature roadmap. We offer you a network with skilled engineers willing to be there as a speaking partner.

Who are you?
We believe that you have a natural interest to learn and are eager to develop and improve our test methods and ways of working. You have a strong driving force and an ability to work independently with good structure but are also comfortable with being part of a team. You are positive and have a confident personality without prestige.
Requirements:
A University degree in Engineering
Minimum of five years of experience from automotive industry, preferably within durability analysis, design and verification
English proficiency and the ability to communicate technical matters both verbally and in writing
C or CE driving license is a merit
