In your role as Principal Exterior Studio Engineer, you are responsible for securing the technical feasibility of the 3D geometry released from Design, DSM(Digital shape model). This is done by explaining the R&D demands and requirements to the designer and surface modeler. If the designer?s intention doesn?t work with the requirements, you need to challenge the information coming from the R&D engineers and offer counter proposals. As a Principal interior studio engineer you are expected to independently manage bigger and more complex areas and together with the Design Project Leader and the DSM Project Leader you are also responsible for planning the DSM release from design.

• Experience from program work in all phases.
• Outstanding understanding how to realize the Design intentions in a feasible way.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in Studio Engineering at Product Design.
• A record of delivery in all program level with a demonstrated capability in applicable technical skills
• A high level of energy & passion for cars.
• Demonstrated understanding of what is important in the different program phases
• Ability to prioritize your daily work to support Design in the most efficient way.
• High level of communication skills.
• Desire & willingness to help / support colleagues.
• Ability to deliver Studio Engineering support for a complete vehicle.

You need to have studio engineer experience and experience from Automotive.
