At Powertrain Strategic Development we lead technology strategy and contribute to business strategy for new Powertrain solutions. We are the center of development and expertize of Hydrogen solutions and acting as the Powertrain Product owner of Hydrogen products within the Volvo Group

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Concept Architect to lead and inspire in new complete powertrain concept architecture solution, targeting new CO2 neutral concept. Concepts with a focus on Hydrogen technology, ranging from ICE to fuel cell electric powertrain system solutions, including infrastructure interface solutions. Targeting future products across the Volvo Group. A person who knows that curiosity, a drive for results and a desire to learn is the key to business success. In this role you will have a leading position in formation and selection of new concepts architectures within the Powertrain Strategic Development team.
You will represent the Volvo Group in external activities and interact with customers on national as well as international level. The concept architect role includes both to lead activities in our strategy work as well as in development projects.

from bringing a multi-technology concept together to system solutions.
of strategic development and technology concept leadership
of strategic recommendations and development operation in an OEM environment

Preferable deep broad but also fundamentally deep knowledge fuel cell system technology as well in vehicle propulsion related thermodynamics, electric and SW strategies
You are well known for creativity and ability to convert ideas and concepts into viable technical and architectural
Drives engagement and Action orientate
You are well familiar in leading and working internal and external networks
Preferably PhD or Master of Science (or equivalent)
