Principal Engineer
The Durability and Craftmanship Department is responsible for the attributes Strength & Endurance, Corrosion, Ageing Polymer Materials,
Robustness to Fire, Mechanical Theft Protection, Solidity and Perceived Quality.
The group Polymer Materials Exterior & Propulsion is responsible for the attribute Ageing Polymer Materials,
developing requirements, target setting and the verification process of component, system and complete vehicle for Polymer Materials.
We need to secure and strengthen a high competence within the glue & adhesives area. We are currently looking for a Dedicated and experienced goto person who can secure the implementation and can communicate the special needs of glue/adhesives and can address and resolve key technical issues.
What you'll do
You will provide in depth competence to be able to define the correct applications as well as to be supporting in both development phases and aftermarket.
The PE will internally secure that we use the same processes and methods in all projects, secure that lessons learned are addressed and externally communicate our objectives and requirements in order to secure robust technical solutions.
Close cooperation with Manufacturing, Aftermarket, Quality department and others will be a part of the daily work.
Create and maintain network with external parties will also be an important part of the assignment.
You and your skills
You have a MSc degree, or equivalent based on work experience. You have expertise and proven experience in Glue/adhesives polymers & processes.
It is also vital that you show:
* Demonstrated initiative & capability to provide leadership/support within the technical area to assure the delivery of transfer of technology and/or programs.
* Ability to lead a team, develop requirements, design guidelines and educate the organisation in the topic of glue and adhesives.
* Experience of applicable Design, Analysis, Verification, Quality, Manufacturing, and Assembly methods.
