We are now looking for a person who can be technical coordinator and guardian for Ericsson Radio System hardware.
The domain of Ericsson Radio System Hardware development and release covers a number of processes and activities vital to build ERS HW Solutions (combination of hardware modules) for Ericsson's customers, to secure the quality and prepare for delivery to the customer. Within the ERS HW domain decisions need to be taken about the release content and quality.
This role is introduced to technically support the programs and the line with making sure that:
Customer solutions solves the customer needs and fulfills the applicable regulative/legal requirements
Backward compatibility is achieved when applicable
Requirements and architecture are fulfilled
What you will do
Together with SA forum and secure that ERS HW architecture is followed.
Support RA programs and product management with questions regarding ERS HW architecture.
Take overall technical responsibility for the quality of ERS HW releases including that products introduced in ERS HW Applied System are fulfilling the requirements and architecture and should be able to give recommendation before each release.
Propose new solutions to SPM
Support line and programs with answering internal questions as well as questions from customers
Continuously spread the knowledge of ERS HW Applied and Source System
Keep a big contact network to share information with and collect information and knowledge from
Continuously keep track of and learn of new technology in the different products areas and to have a general good knowledge of the different parts of ERS HW
Understand the connection to SW
Approve or reject projects proposal of solution in ERS HW Techno (if architectural changes are needed, approval is also needed by SA Configurations, HW and Site)
The Principal Developer ERS HW Solutions is chairperson of the following forum:
ERS HW Techno where new products are checked during OA and CA phase for consistency to ERS HW Architecture.
You will bring
Education: Master of Science
Min 10 years of experience in the area
Domain experience: Ericsson Radio System hardware
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
Business understanding
Working with people and networking
Innovating, adapting and responding to change
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
Superb communication skills
Planning and Organizing
