Pricing is a top priority in Alfa Laval since several years. Our mission in the Pricing Support Function is to develop pricing methodologies and tools according to best practise for Alfa Laval.
We have developed tools for Transactional Pricing that are up and running, with second generation tools standing on the doorstep. For Value Pricing, we are working with prototypes in two pilot
projects. User-friendly and high-performing tools for Price Analysis and Price-setting is instrumental for successful implementation and use in the Alfa Laval organization .
As our current Pricing Tools Development Manager is heading for a position in a sales company, we are now looking for his successor.
A brief job description:
• Responsible for development, maintenance and training of existing and future pricing tools
• Initiate and run development projects to improve Alfa Laval's pricing infrastructure
• Being the connection between the sales organisation and IS/IT on pricing issues
• Link pricing tools with Alfa Laval's sales systems
We are looking for a person who is highly analytical and has good interpersonal and communication skills. You like challenges, and are focused on finding solutions. You are self-driven and enjoy an
open, informal work style. You speak and write English on a high level.
Suitable background and experiences are:
• IS/IT, Finance or Sales background or combination thereof.
• Experience of heading (IT) projects involving different parts of an organisation
You will be part of a small but highly competent team focused at developing world-class pricing methodologies and tools. You report to the head of Pricing Support Function. The position is based in
Lund.
