hela Sverige An exciting opportunity has arisen as Pricing Manager in Electrolux Major Appliances EMEA sector. The mission of the Central pricing office in the sector is to optimize the Top and Bottom line development of the product categories by providing business Leadership within price setting and price management. We are now searching for the right person with pricing experience to drive, implement and support the large transformation in price management in the sector.

The Pricing Manager acts as the overall price management champion for one or more of the European Product Categories, The main responsibilities of the role are to:
Implement the central price setting methodology by ensuring that you
• Drive the product price setting activity according to the central price setting methodology
• Gather key inputs from required external and internal sources (market data, competitor data, product information, consumer insight information, trade margins, financial data)
• Close collaboration throughout the different functions of the sector organization,
• With your European Category Director ( ECD) on product characteristics, competitors, etc
• Integrate local know-how from main countries
• Prepare price recommendations for discussion with your European Category Directors ( ECDs)
• Support communication of prices to local countries and follow-up that prices are implemented accordingly
• Get involved early on in the innovation processes, providing target pricing input for upcoming product opportunities
Follow-up on price implementation and drive pricing processes and projects:
• Integrate the views of Product Line, Brand, Sales and Finance into commercially and financially sound Pricing plans for your Product Categories.
• Continuously follow-up price development by category and country assess local explanations and proposed actions; discuss with ECDs
• Adjust price setting and product life cycle price management when required
• Drive pricing review projects by Product Category and/or Country/Cluster.
• Be primary point of contact for local countries in price management
• Implement a thorough promotion management process and tool in the countries
• Ensure price waterfall understanding and usage in the countries to identify potential opportunities.
• Ensure action-oriented analysis on European level
• Action oriented reporting back to ECDs and develop management reports
Organizational Development:
• Continuously develop the capabilities of the Sector in the Pricing area
REQUIRED PROFILE:
• Price management experience
• Having worked in multifunctional teams
• Having worked in an international environment is a plus
EDUCATION:
• Master degree economics, business management, finance
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
