At ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pricing is a strategic focus area with great opportunities and an exciting journey ahead. We are now ramping up and building our capabilities and for that reason we're expanding the team in Pricing with a Pricing & Data Specialist for the Business Segment Pedestrian (BSP), with global responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will be working with strategic pricing and drive the development of pricing competence, methods, and tools towards world-class in the business segment, i.e commercial pricing in all dimensions (Product, Market, Customer and Deal pricing) with focus on New Equipment sales. You will also work in close collaboration with the business units to drive projects, develop best practice tools and procedures, and implement pricing initiatives to the business. The role will also involve work that focus on identifying pricing and sales-data needs from business stakeholders. You will demonstrate the value of data & analytics and leverage the values to identify growth opportunities.
Major stakeholders and collaboration partners within the business segment are Commercial Product, Managers, Business System Specialists, Head of Product Units and Local Sales Managers. The role will also engage with internal and external stakeholders to enhance innovative thinking around the company to identify business needs and solve challenges through use of pricing data & technology
We prefer you to be based in one of our main offices, preferably in Landskrona, Sweden. It will also be possible to regularly work from our branch office in Malmö next to the central train station. As our ambitions are global, business travel may occasionally be required.
You will report to the Head of Pricing for the Business Segment Pedestrian and work in close cooperation with the Head of Pricing for Entrance Systems Division. You will be part of a big community of pricing professionals in the Entrance Systems Division, as well as in the ASSA ABLOY Group.
To succeed in this role
To succeed in the role, you need a relevant University degree and at least 5 years' work experience within the area of pricing. You have been involved in commercial pricing in a leading, international manufacturing company or you have acquired knowledge of best practice B2B pricing from other experiences.
You have a structured way of working and use different IT tools to support your work. As we are talking about development and changes of the current structures and ways of working, the ideal candidate has good project management skills and also excellent collaboration and communications skills.
You have advanced analytical skills and enjoy working in a fast-changing and growing company, where no day is like the day before.
Since English is our corporate language, we expect you to have a high professional knowledge and be able to speak, read and write freely when interacting with your international colleagues.
