We are looking for a Pricing and Commercial Excellence Analyst to our Surface Chemistry organization in Stenungsund. The primary function of the Regional Pricing and Commercial Excellence Analyst role is to implement, support and analyze pricing. In addition, this role is also expected to support the implementation of other Commercial Excellence initiatives (for example: analyses supporting Structured Service Offering implementation and Product Portfolio Optimization). You will work 50/50 with pricing administration and on pricing analysis.
The role will give you the opportunity to gain a large network within our sales and marketing organization. You will learn a lot about the products and pricing strategies within our business unit. In addition, you operate in a very international environment with your manager being located in Amsterdam, your focal points all over the EMEIA region and your peers being based out of Chicago, Itupeva and Shanghai.
Main responsibilities
• Support sales with price implementation plans
• Support marketing function with margin reviews
• Coordinate regional price updates
• Prepare management communication about pricing implementation status
• Enter pricing into SAP using the defined BU pricing process
• Run price override reports and take appropriate action to meet KPI targets
• Liaison between Sales and Customer Service for pricing issues
• Perform pricing data collection, cleansing, validation and analysis and provide sanity check
• Identify and discuss key pricing issues and develop action plans with the Regional Sales Managers
Job Requirements
• Bachelor Degree
• Strong knowledge in SAP and basic knowledge in Excel is required
• Preferably experience with pricing, customer service or data management
• Proactive, self-starter and pragmatic
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
