BU Marine Separation & Heat Transfer Equipment (MSH) - Service is responsible for all aftersales business in Marine and Diesel applications, within the BU.
It covers spare parts, retrofit, upgrading and services. Customers includes shipping companies that operate/owns vessels, repair yards and engine power stations.
Alfa Laval holds a strong market position in this international market.
We will take the next step to further strengthen our capabilities within pricing, with a Pricing and business analyst, to secure a continuous profitable growth.
Who you are
About the job
The future role is to own, manage and develop the process of setting and distributing prices for the complete MSH Service portfolio. You will co-ordinate pricing process and secure the implementation in the Sales Companies.
You will:
* support the Sales team with business analysis in a broad perspective and be project leader for strategic projects
* initially be focused on continuously improve our spare parts pricing, in the yearly price revision and manage pricing in between
We have a clear objective to improve pricing and combine the best of the worlds of transnational pricing and value-based pricing which spans from parts to products and Services.
What you know
You will be joining a team of skilled and highly motivated colleagues, in a fast-moving international business. You have:
* good organizational and analytic skills
* good technical and general product knowledge
* strong business interest and strategic understanding
* ability to see the whole picture, with an eye for the details
You are a self-motivated team player, with an interest in building customer values. You have most likely an economical, university level or a corresponding business degree. Perhaps you are working as controller, with business development experience, and is looking to take on a new and exciting challenge.
Practicalities
The Pricing and business analyst is based in Tumba, Sweden, reporting to the Manager of Global Service Sales. Expected number of travel days is approx. 20 day/year.
