Who you are
BU Marine Separation & Heat Transfer Equipment (MSH) - Service is responsible for all aftersales business in Marine and Diesel applications, within the BU. It covers spare parts, retrofit, upgrading and services.
Alfa Laval holds a strong market position in this highly international market. We will take the next step to further strengthen our capabilities within pricing, with a Pricing and business analyst, to secure a profitable growth.
About the job We have a clear objective to improve pricing and combine the best of the worlds of transactional pricing and value based pricing. You will:
support the MSH Service Management team with business analysis in a broad perspective
initially be focused on continuously improve our spare parts pricing, in the yearly price revision and manage pricing in between
The future role is to own, manage and develop the process of setting and distributing prices for the MSH Service portfolio. You will co-ordinate pricing process and implementation in the Sales Companies.
PracticalitiesThe Pricing and business analyst is based in Tumba, Sweden, reporting to the Manager of Global Service Sales. Expected number of travel days is approx. 20 day/year.

good organizational and analytic skills
good technical and general product knowledge
strong business interest and strategic understanding
an ability to the whole picture, with an eye for the details
We need a self-motivated team player, with an interest for building customer values. You have most likely an economical, university level or a corresponding business degree. Perhaps you are working as controller, with business development experience, and is looking to take on a new and exciting challenge.
