For our customer, a larger international company in the manufacturing industry in the Trestad-area (Trollhättan/Uddevalla/Vänersborg), we are looking for an experienced pricing analyst for employment directly at this company’s Parts & Accessories Pricing-team.
Job description
As Pricing analyst, you are working on a daily basis with analysis and preparations regarding pricing of this company's parts and accessories. The analysis are based on a large product assortment and circuits around different questions like - what will a change or a new product cost mean in terms of volume and profitability?
Other typical analysis are penetration of different campaigns to promote sales and marketing. You work in Excel, Access and a pricing system unique for this company.
You are a part of the Parts & Accessories pricing team but you also cooperate with purchasing, aftersales and material planning and you work closely to national and international importers and dealers.
This position gives you a possibility to be included in a professional pricing team in an interesting development stage. This team aims to help the organisation making the correct decision on which type of products to be sold where and at what price.
Who are you?
We are looking for a person with a University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Economy or similar, with at least two years’ work experience from economic analysis preferably on the commercial side of business. You are skilled with numbers - used to working with extensive Excel files but also have the ability to se the organisation in a total perspective. You have a high service level and a good understanding of sales in the market.
As a person, you have a high analytical ability and you enjoy solving problems. You are outgoing and commercial and prefer to bring your tasks independently forward. In a change environment, it is important to be sustainable and flexible. In the contact with colleagues, you are explicit, diplomatic and open minded.
You have a good IT knowledge (Office), above all in Excel. Access or any other database knowledge is meritorious. You speak and write both English and Swedish fluently and if you speak yet another language it is an advantage.
