Supporting the Commercial team by performing and developing the pricing activity in the Region following the processes and criteria set out by the LP business, and assisting in the establishment of risk tracking and related metrics and analytics.
Responsibilities:
• Be responsible for the various stages of the pricing process, by following adequate frameworks and procedures set out by regional risk and actuarial manager.
• Maintain adequate communication channels with different stakeholders.
• Become a subject matter expert, taking care of, and being the main point of reference throughout the different stages of the pricing process.
• Provide expert support to the Commercial team regarding Genworth products, risk factors and for client relationship management.
• Analysis of existing client performance.
• Ensure consistency of the pricing models, update relevant input assumptions in the pricing models as required
• Cooperate through the regular experience analysis framework to suggest any relevant modifications needed in the different pricing models
• Contribute to new product business initiatives by working with product and business development teams.
Basic Qualifications:
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics,
• Good communications skills. Language proficiency in English and local language are compulsory
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Strong time management and self-motivation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Qualified or Part-Qualified Actuary
• Advanced Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or similar
• Relevant actuarial experience
• Previous experience in pricing, underwriting and/or risk analysis roles (ideally in creditor insurance)
• Experience in analysis of financial data
• High standard of report writing and presentation
• Fluent in another regional language
