As Price Manager at Volvo Penta you report to the Vice President Business Control & Pricing Aftermarket. In the price management function, we are three senior and experienced price managers working closely together, whereof one in short will retire.
The price management function is located at Volvo Pentas HQ in Lundby, Gothenburg, Sweden. The function is responsible for Suggested Retail Pricing and discount structure for Volvo Penta's Global Parts & Accessory assortment. We also support the regions in price administration, e.g. market price lists, special prices and price development follow up. We organize price surveys and are currently implementing a new pricing system. The function is deeply involved in the transformation journey Volvo Penta is making into digitalization, Services and electromobility.

Responsibilities:
Global Suggested Retail pricing for Parts & Services
Yearly Price Revision and recurrent Price Optimization
Managing Market Price Lists, Special Prices and Customer Pricelist in collaboration with MU/Regions
Manage monthly follow up, and analysis, on price evolution and price related KPI's
Stand out as a Subject Matter Expert in pricing activities within Volvo Penta and towards our Customers
Maintain a comprehensive overview of the services & parts pricing landscape and how it links to the customer segments
Collaborate with Services & Product Managers in creating business models and price positioning
Represent the function in projects related to new products & services

Qualifications:
University degree in finance or equivalent
Commercial experience from Sales and/or Pricing Positions
Strong analytical skill and a proactive approach are essential
Experience of Services Pricing will be considered as strong merit
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of RHELP, VIPS and Pricing Systems considered an advantage
Fluency in English, both orally and written, and preferably Swedish
True team player with ability to establish strong stakeholder relations
